Spring Blossoms

A small "Amethyst Falls" wisteria that got planted last fall is starting to peek out over the boxwood,
on its way to climbing up the pergola.
The perennial cutting beds are starting to wake up for the season.
The ponds have been cleaned, annuals installed, just waiting for things to flush out a little more.
Veggies are planted in the walled garden, as well.
The first shot of yellow peeks out (in a pretty bold way) from under a weeping Japanese maple.
As always, click on them to see larger images with more detail.

Have a great day in the garden!

  1. Amethyst Falls is such a winner compared to the alternative. I love the behaved manner in which it lives in the garden. Glad to see your spring is really here!

  2. Like the ivy pruned around the brick pattern and the wood rose obelisk. like to have an obelisk in my garden.

  3. Hi Tim,
That particular garden is looking amazing. Is it not simply the best time of the year when things show their first fresh flush of growth? Wow...couldn't say that one again...lol!
Love the deep blue wisteria, not heard of that one before.
