It was one of those beautiful mornings following a major thunderstorm that shook the roof last night. There is a certain light that only comes on these sorts of mornings.

All those blooms look to have stood up to the storm.

All beautiful! I have killed many a rhododendron but I have one that is really beautiful and it is loaded with buds. I can't wait to see it flower this year.
