Some beautiful whites
Lots of things were blooming in the garden this weekend. I've come up with a few of my favorite whites, which are very cool looking to me when the temperatures are reaching 90 degrees in the sun!
The vegetables are moving a little slowly this year. It's actually been more overcast and rainy than normal, so we've had an issue with some things being slow to germinate. We're definitely behind you Californians, with the first of the bell peppers just starting to form on the plants. Probably another month before we're doing any real harvesting.
Welcome, Mouli! The echinacea is commonly known as "Coneflower," and is very easy to grow. It was being used by native Americans at least 150 years ago, but might be of European origin. It is traditionally purple, but is now available in many colors.
Real beauties!
ReplyDeleteHi. Looks pretty cool. Wondered what’s the latest with your veggie garden? What’s your next garden project?

They're all lovely, Tim. I am yet to meet a person who's not impressed with white beauties! I love the Echinacea - curious as to what it exactly is...
