It is now fall. In fall, the acorns FALL!!!!! It is anything but a gentle pitter patter. The noise could wake the dead.....Thank goodness the "not shed" is closer to my neighbors' houses than it is to mine!

It is now fall. In fall, the acorns FALL!!!!! It is anything but a gentle pitter patter. The noise could wake the dead.....Thank goodness the "not shed" is closer to my neighbors' houses than it is to mine!

Your not shed it wonderful. Yes, the walnuts drop on the neighbors garage across the street and it is quite a sound and if you are walking by they roll out at you. I bet the acorns sound like bullets on the tin roof.

I have to park the truck near the street. The acorns are the size of golf balls. You hear them break free. They crash through a few dried leaves on their way down. That sound is your only warning. Heaven help you if there are no leaves in the way. They hurt. I speak from experience.
