I'm sure the condition of her garden (when she was in charge) looked like ours, since she spent most of her time running off to France with Violet, and occasionally Virginia.
Tim, what wonderful photos! My heart's desire is to go on a garden tour through the UK. Not sure if it'll ever actually happen, but a girl can dream.....thanks as always for sharing.
Beautiful pictures! Hopefully I will get around to reading some more of her writings on gardening soon.

ReplyDeleteIf she were around, she certainly would be in the garden with hedge sheers in hand.
ReplyDeleteI was reading somewhere that it was her birthday. I dream of making it there one day.
ReplyDeleteI do love that garden.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I have moved away from it in my current gardens, I still goe for the English Country style.
ReplyDeleteSackville-West & the Bloomsbury group still fascinate.
