Please Pardon the Plastic

I was cutting roses at the Big House yesterday and thought this casual collection looked pretty great just sitting there on the lawn waiting to be properly arranged in a better container.  Unfortunately I forgot to photograph them once they were  in crystal with some added gomphrena and grasses!  The roses are loving this heat!

  1. What pretty roses! You're also growing Eucalyptus too?

  2. Eucalyptus loves the heat here in summer. That one grew up from something that was 12" tall a couple of months ago, and is now about 4 feet tall! We abuse it terribly, and drag it into the greenhouse in winter.

  3. It's a pretty picture, the small thumbnail pic on my dashboard still caught my eye!

  4. Yep, I take a shot and I wonder why didn't I pull that weed or why did I allow that pooper scoop stay there in the background. It is an informal shot of a soon to be very professional arrangement. The roses are doing great.

  5. Hi Tim,
Some gorgeous colours in there, what is the name of the white one edged pink?
Don't apologise about the container, they look so good that you wouldn't notice it anyway!
