The First Day of Spring


Nothing to write this early in the morning, but I thought this picture was pretty fabulous! (Double click on the photo to enlarge it)

Look at the peony almost visibly stretching toward the early sun on a chilly morning! Have a glorious spring!

    I love the bright reddish foliage of peony as it just starts. When it's a few inches tall, I think of them as tiki torches at a fearie luau. Yesterday I spied a clump of snowdrops in a park--hooray! Spring really is on its way, despite some meandering.

    Great photos...it is almost as if the daffodils are bowing down to the peonies
