44-46-52-57-55-61-60-63-59-64

Those numbers are the forecasted high temps for the next ten days in Atlanta.  We're already more than halfway through the first one (44 is today's high), so it only gets better.  To make life even sweeter, the worst of the days is expected to be "mostly sunny".

And THAT, people, is a beautiful thing!

  1. Yes, we are going to start thawing the next seven days. A high today of 12 degrees F. and then it is all up hill from there.

  2. I've had two scotches,( well, maybe three) but I'm glad you are going to thaw out! This winter has been the worst!

  3. A high of 12 degrees? That's why I moved from Boston to Atlanta!

  4. I haven't been happy with this mean winter we've had, but it could be worse. The eastern end of Lake Ontario got hammered yesterday. One town had 7" of snow in 90 minutes, and another got 2 feet in 6 hours!! Yikes!! A few years back, that area had a band of lake-effect snow parked over it for a solid week, and one town got 300 inches (no, I'm not making that up) before it was all said and done!

  5. Hi Tim,

I share your joy at the upcoming sunny days. I've had a string of them and have accomplished so much in my garden. It is easy to lose yourself when you're immersed.

Happy, sunny days heading toward spring,
